Causes of Urinary Tract Infection
Urinary tract infection causes and symptoms
Basically, urinary tract infection is primarily caused by bacteria. This occurs when the bacteria in the digestive system infect the urinary system, namely; bladder, and or urethra. As any of them gets infected, it causes you to have a painful sensation while urinating. Nevertheless, urinary track infection can be treated.
Urinary tract infection is one of the most common types of infection anyone can get. Every year, millions of people get infected all over the world. It has a long list of symptoms that one may watch out for, so that you can easily know when have an infection. The symptoms include, but not limited to painful sensation when urinating, passing little urine, and cloudy looking urine.
Cure for urinary tract infection:
One of the most basic ways of preventing or taking care of this infection is to make sure you drink a lot of water, or other types of fluid daily. That will enable you to constantly purge yourself of any impurities, preferably bacteria, in the urinary system.
Vitamin C is vital in your treatment of urinary system infection. Food that contain this vitamin are very helpful. A few Example of such are dark green vegetable and orange. Fruits are generally good in helping you clear the infection. If you can afford them, buy as many types as you can.
You may also consider drinking a lot of orange and or cranberry juice as one of your fluid intakes, since they contain vitamin C. At the same time, you may curtail your consumption of alcoholic beverages and coffee during the period of infection, as to avoid the irritation of the urinary system. Placing hot pad at the lower part of your abdomen will play a great role in minimizing your discomfort and pain.
Treatment – As relates to children:
Since some of the symptom exhibited when children have urinary tract infection include, fever and vomiting, my recommendation is that you see a qualified medical professional to do a proper diagnosis of the root of the problem. It might be something else, other than urinary passage infection.
If you don’t let things get out of hand, urinary tract infection is not life threatening, as long long as it is detected early and taking care of. Don’t delay, and thereby letting it spread to the kidney. When such happens, it could become deadly. That is why the saying; “prevention is better than cure” is very true. Make sure you consume enough amount of fluid daily. Doing that and and taking your vitamin C, will save you the worry about urinary tract infection.
