Everybody wants to grow old without much problems. Some go for some kind of surgical process in order to look younger, while others look for the natural solutions. The major factor contributing to the way we age, has a lot to do with the types of food we eat and the ingredient they contain.

Antioxidant is one of the most beneficial ingredients to have in our food, that help us to maintain the graceful ageing process. Some of us may wonder what Antioxidants are, and how they can help us looking our best.

Antioxidants are the component part of the food, or nutrients that combat the ageing process in your body. You get this benefit by eating food that contains Antioxidants. There are many types of food that can help you achieve that.

Before we go further, let us clarify some important facts about the human body. Human body continuously restores its cells through a process called cellular metabolism. This metabolism process produces unstable molecule, called free radicals. These free radicals cause a lot of adverse, or harmful effects to the good body cells in many ways.

It is worthy of note that we need to consume foods that are rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Lutein, Lycopene, and Beta-Carotene for antioxidants. These foods are readily available in our local grocery stores, or farmer markets. Antioxidants are also abundantly available in nuts, sea food, legumes, and red meat.
